| We are Robert Marchant and Deborah DeWit Marchant. You may remember us as Simple Minds... the note card publisher of Deborah's photographs and pastels. For fifteen years we have offered inspiring note cards about the pleasures of reading and writing, staying in touch with friends and family and various pastimes all illustrated by Deborah's colorful and heartfelt imagery. DeWit-Marchant Fine Art and Graphics represents a more comprehensive presentation of Deborah's work. We now offer archival reproductions, her book Traveling Light, photographic prints and an invitation to view her newest paintings and drawings, photographs and writings as well as a selection of note cards at our web sites.
Deborah has been creating images for nearly thirty years. Her interests in nature, travel, reading, and writing and just the everyday stuff of life fuel her ideas and mark her images with a universality that invites everyone to imagine themselves there, in the pictures. Her work has appeared on book covers, in calendars and magazines, as well as being collected both privately and for public spaces. Robert's computer and graphics expertise enables us to bring all of Deborah's work to more people, in a way that maintains the beauty and integrity of the original work.
